    Great product, poor applicator

Posted by Hayden on Nov 1st 2020

The screen protector feels and looks great. The only issue I had was the weak cardboard card they include for applying the protector and removing bubbles. It was too small to press evenly across the screen while applying, and it bent and frayed quickly when rubbing out bubbles because it is cardboard. I have a few bubbles, but if I don't let it bother me, the protector itself is great.

Excellent Non-Glare Screen Protector, Recommended for Apple Pencil

Posted by Paul C. on Apr 14th 2020

I’ve had this on my iPad for months now, and it has worked gret. I bought it to better use the Apple Pencil for writing and drawing, which it works well with, but I think I appreciate the Anti-Glare properties even more than better pencil performance. It helps a lot when when watching videos or reading a book. There is literally no reflections now. I managed to get the screen protector on flawlessly with my first try. I recommend researching youtube videos on how to install a screen protector on an ipad, I spent more time preparing my work area and getting everything ready than I did actually installing it. Basically I set up shop in the bathroom and made it steamy, I lined up the screenprotector on the ipad, taped it down on one side (making a hinge), then removed the bottom adhesive protector sheet, then carefully layed it down and squeeged out air bubbles. Please note that once you have it adhered to the ipad, there is a 2nd clear protective film layer that must be removed *after* it is installed. Once you get that 2nd film taken off you can get rid of any remaining air bubbles. I also noticed when using the Apple Pencil that it can leave what looks like faint scratches on the screen protector, but these come off easily when you clean the screen, there is no damage. This protector is not finger print or smudge proof, so you will still need to clean the screen, but it is better than without it. And finally, the anti-glare protector does create some mild “screen noise”, which takes some getting used to, it’s not quite HD anymore. All these type of screen protectors have this issue, it’s just the trade-off for anti-glare and better Pencil traction. But I am completely used to it now and don’t even notice it, I don’t think it takes away my enjoyment of using the ipad. But give yourself a few weeks with it to get used to it.
